West Chester’s Parks and Recreation Committee voted 3-0 to officially support our plans to restore the Marshall Square Park fountain and surrounding area.
Architects extraordinaire, Jeff Beitel (FMSP President) and Anne Walters (Vice President) deftly presented their detailed plans to the Committee. After the vote, the FMSP members left council to applause from the Committee and those in attendance.
The plan goes on Borough Council’s agenda for next Tuesday and Wednesday (10/15, 10/16). Plan to attend; it’s exciting to see our work not only accepted by the Borough but also seen as a welcomed addition to our town.
Now, all we have to do is raise the money to pay for it!
