Watch the remainder of the MSP fountain leaving July 16, 2015, for restoration by Heritage Metalworks of Downingtown.
Since 1889, the fountain’s lowest tier sat in this spot—the other portions lost but recovered in 2012.
In early 2016, come see Marshall Square Park’s “new” working fountain — restored, joined, and re-installed after an absence of over 60 years!
Coordinating with completion of the fountain restoration, we anticipate having the funds to contract the next four phases…
- Restoring the masonry fountain basin
- Purchasing the fountain mechanical equipment
- Installing the plumbing & electrical lines
- Installing a new decorative fence around the basin.
Stay tuned!
